The job, once a month
Internet banking sometimes exports recent transactions. You still end up with a PDF when a client emails last year, an account is closed, or the CSV export will not cover the statement period sitting in Xero. That is the file this tool is for — when it is one of the proven layouts.

We read that layout
Each proven bank has its own reader — not a generic “AI reads any PDF” demo. Unknown tables stop.
Step 3
Check the table
Edit a cell, drop a junk row, add a missing one. Totals are in front of you.
Step 4
Import in Xero
Accounting → Bank accounts → Manage account → Import a statement.
Proven on real customer PDFs
These four layouts have been checked against real files. Westpac and ANZ are beta — you can try them in the browser; we do not claim they are accurate. Credit cards, scans, and “the big four” as a set are not advertised.

Westpac and ANZ are not proven. You can still drop a digital PDF on Convert. If parse refuses, or the table looks wrong, send a stripped layout report (bank guess, page size, headers, column positions, date and amount shapes — no payees, BSB, account numbers, or PDF). A valid report unlocks one A$8 / 15-statement pack on that browser.

Parsing runs in your browser with pdf.js. The PDF never hits our server. There is no account for the three free conversions — quota is stored in this browser. Paid checkout goes to Stripe. We do not keep statement files.
